Yesterday, we covered the stunning new renderings of the amenities at The Ritz-Carlton Residences South Beach and their contribution to preserving Morris Lapidus’ architectural legacy in Miami Beach, so today let’s delve into what the future owners of the condo units can expect from their new homes.
In the 15-story tower that will be constructed over the existing Ritz-Carlton South Beach Hotel and also incorporating the historic Sagamore Hotel, there will be a total of 30 residences. The layouts range from a 1-bedroom plan with 1,197 interior square feet and a 385 square foot terrace all the way to a sprawling 5-bedroom plan with 6.5 bathrooms over 4,481 interior square feet and 1,040 square feet of outdoor living areas.
When stepping off of the private elevator, owners and guests are greeted with a Studio Munge-designed haven of luxury that includes floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and South Beach.
Rift-cut white oak hardwood flooring blends seamlessly with the hand-selected premium Calcatta marble countertops and rich textiles in the main living areas. In the kitchen, some residents have custom-designed breakfast areas built into the end of the preparation bar that also offers guest seating. Backlit fluted glass accents and bronze finish inlays give a glamorous touch to the integrated Gaggenau appliance suite, which also includes a wine refrigerator in most residences.
Moving into the primary suite, owners can expect dual primary bathrooms in some of the residences, all of the primary bathrooms will feature dramatic Italian Paonazzo extra-premium marble floors and walls. This displays distinctive gold, silver and amber veining that will compliment the brass finish detailing on the plumbing fixtures and custom mirrors.
In the guest bathroom, an arranged Grigio Apuano marble has been chosen to complement the custom plumbing fixtures and integrated lighting.
The powder rooms boast Cristallo Pink Quartzite and a custom vanity, carrying the polished metal fixture theme throughout the residence.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences South Beach recently converted to contracts, with residences beginning at $4.25 million up to the $125 million upper penthouse. The project is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2027.
